Recently published research in Environment International (IF 11.8) spearheaded by a collaboration of our group (Nathalie C. Wörz and Böttcher lab alumna Dr. Sina Rütschlin) with the group of Marcel Leist (Uni Konstanz) discovered a potential link of a microbial metabolite to neurodegeneration. We made it into the news and were highlighted by
