Congratulations to our group member Etta Jost, who defended her PhD with a magnificent presentation and talk on the 18th of June! 🙂
The theme of her PhD thesis is “A modular ABPP approach to target AgrB in the pathogen S. aureus“, in which she focuses on the hypothesis that the inhibition of the protease AgrB of S. aureus would block autoinducing peptide secretion and that the agr system would not be activated in absence of the autoinducer, which would make the pathogen unable to produce virulence factors.
