Our PhD student Micha Becker recently took part in the HIPS (Helmholtz-Institut für Pharmazeutische Forschung Saarland) Symposium in Saarbrücken (21.06.2026). There he presented his poster with the title “A more reliable Crystal Violet Screening Platform for Anti-Infective Biofilm Inhibition Studies”.
Furthermore, Spyridoula Loukatou from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of University Vienna joined the HIPS Symposium with her poster “Bioactivity-Guided Discovery of Antimicrobial Natural Products to Combat Drug Resistance”, which Thomas Böttcher and Micha Becker also contributed to.
